All our staff are appropriately qualifies for the expeditions they supervise, and are trained in safeguarding as well as holding a valid DBS certificate
For all expeditions we can provide a custom package to suit the needs of the school or college, just drop us an email to discuss. Assessed expeditions will include an assessor report uploaded to the participants’ eDofE accounts.
We can come to your school or college to deliver a route planning session prior to the assessed expedition, for which we will provide maps and compasses.
All activities with Phoenix Expeditions are fully risk assessed, with clearly defined emergency procedures in place.
All staff are trained in first aid and emergency response, participants receive a full safety briefing and kit check at the start of each expedition, spare waterproofs and warm layers are available when needed, and expeditions will be adapted during major weather events to ensure participant safety at all times.
Phoenix Expeditions will provide all essential group equipment, including tents, stoves and gas, maps, and compasses.
Phoenix Expeditions will provided detailed expedition reports for assessed expeditions which will be uploaded to eDofE.
